About Mary

Mary began her career in nursing, qualifying as an RGN in Cork, Ireland. She went on to become a midwife in Barking in 1981. Mary undertook training in FE (Five Elements) at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, gaining a Licentiate of Acupuncture and membership of the Traditional Acupuncture Society in 1984. She has been a member of the BAcC since it first formed in 1995.

In 1999 Mary completed a course at the college of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, integrating FE with TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).

In 2006 she trained in the use of patent herbal remedies. In 2007 she qualified to practice facial rejuvenation acupuncture. In 2008 she joined the Zita West network for reproductive help as an affiliate acupuncturist. In 2011 Mary trained in Manaka's Japanese Abdominal Acupuncture. She is a member of the Pregnancy and Parenthood Alliance which supports mothers and families in Watford, Hertfordshire and North West London. Also a member of the Acupuncture Childbirth Team (ACT) in Hertfordshire.

Mary updates her knowledge and refines her skills through continuing personal development by regularly attending seminars and studying journals.

Mary has worked at a number of clinics in the past and currently treats from home in Watford.
